Detroit Documenters Community of Practice (at Work from the Park Day)

Everyone is invited to work from the park all day on Wednesday, August 30th!

At 11:30 a.m., we will host a Community of Practice for Detroit Documenters only. We will share announcements and upcoming events. Then we have an open rotation breakout session for project collaboration:

1. Councilmember Interviews

• Documenters who worked on this assignment will debrief and design the 9/5 newsletter

2. Development Projects

• Mapping power relationships
• Development Tracker
• Vacant land use, block clubs v. developers

3. Leveraging Documenter Experience

• Resumes, interviews, sharing your work
• Using Documenters notes for advocacy work
• Use this time to design a workshop for other Documenters

You’re also welcome to work individually on whatever you want - it doesn’t have to be related to Documenters!

We’ll be out there all day, so you’re welcome to come and go as you please. Please register here if you plan to attend the DCOP!
