DESCRIPTION:Columbus City Council is the legislative branch of the governm
 ent of the City of Columbus\, Ohio There are nine council members who repr
 esent more than 900\,000 residents. Each council member represents one of 
 nine city districts. Members are elected to four year terms.\n\nCouncil is
  responsible for adopting annual operating and capital budgets\, city cont
 racts and enacting the Columbus City Codes. Council also establishes land

  meeting and they will let you in. It is a short walk across the greenspac
 e to City Hall.\n\nStreet parking may be available. While this meeting sta
